This December I left the cold of the UK to spend the month in Fuerteventura wave sailing. The winds were predominantly light and on most days I was windsurfing with my JP 76 litre Real World Wave and a 5.7 Neil Pryde Expression. My usual routine would be surfing in the morning at Esquinzo and then windsurfing in the afternoon at El Cotillo or one of the other spots. Aside from negotiating the reef this place is a real joy to be, although I did come away with a few stitches in my shin after a nasty bail out!! And these pictures show the abuse the hire car takes driving back and forth over the north track in search of waves! |
