I travelled up to Rhosneiger, North Wales for the National Wave Championships over the May bank holiday but unfortunately did not get an opportunity to test my winter wave training!  The wind was light and the sea flat which called for more in the way of free sailing on big kit than wave competition!  Still for the most part the sun was shining and with the JP /Neil Pryde demo on hand to offer kit to willing volunteers it was a fun weekend.  Made even more so by an amusing night out to the local student union bar, guided by none other than the infamous Bucky at Funsport!  A fun weekend but shame obout the conditions (especially since it was particular good on the south coast - should have stayed at home!!!)
